Sefirot is an ancient game from the lost lands of Dioscoria. The Fates speak through the game’s Tarot cards, deciding the players’ destiny – whether this means triumph or downfall. Sefirot has several play modes, which use different game boards.
In its solitaire version, the player challenges the fates along a world-spanning tree of life, struggling to overcome the perilous duality of growth and decay.
The game also supports two players, whether cooperatively or competitively: players might battle for the stars themselves, or embark on a tender dance that reveals their unified faith.
Sefirot had an incredible Kickstarter campaign in March 2021! You can learn more about it on its Kickstarter page, including the game itself, its beautifully assembled high-quality components, its standalone Tarot deck, and its exquisite items and trinkets, such as pins and prints.
Later on we partnered up with Hay House Publishing, who helped us realize the second edition of the Tarot deck, The Spheres of Heaven, which is also available on our webshop.
The Hidden Isle is a pen and paper RPG that uses Tarot cards instead of dice, set in the 16th century on the secretive island of Dioscoria. It focuses on roleplaying and collaborative storytelling.
This is a game about swashbuckling adventures across Europe and the Middle East, stealing forbidden texts from oppressive regimes, protecting an island of outcasts using ancient magic, and toppling empires with just the right speech at just the right time.
You can pre-order the physical book, or you can already start adventuring via the digital version!
The Sewers and the Stars is a standalone expansion for The Hidden Isle, our recently funded tabletop role playing game. Travel to the cathedrals, monuments and infamous sewers of Rome or contemplate the stars speckling the Zanzibari sky, like the mystics before you.
The Sewers and the Stars brings us two new settings, the city of Rome, and the island of Zanzibar, two new pre-written scenarios set in those locations, and two new character classes: the Swindler and the Scholar. Aspiring Agents can look forward to conning Portuguese troops on the shores of Zanzibar, sensing the greed of corrupt Roman cardinals, giving rousing lectures or speeches, and demonstrating their encyclopedic knowledge of obscure facts.
The award-winning Tarot board game returns: with improved rules, robust divination tools, and a new “Taroguelike” game mode. Silver Seals takes what worked from the first edition, and transmutes it into an elevated form. The three original game modes – Solitaire, Co-operative and Competitive – are lighter, faster and more balanced.
The Solitaire board now makes use of the Sun and Moon spaces; the two-player board makes use of Ouroboros connections, allowing flanking manoeuvers. The co-operative mode also has more mechanics for card-trading. The result? A tighter play experience, so you can focus on the cut and thrust of play, and read the cards afterwards. The new mode allows you to venture out with a new set of single player rules, to seek the blessing of a God or Spirit at the apex of the Tree of Life
Forever Hold Your Peace is a 72-page zine featuring five new adventures for The Hidden Isle, our beloved Tarot-based TTRPG of swashbuckling and mystical escapades. Our expanded team of writers and artists are eager to present you with new adventures to keep you busy for many a night.
It is the year 1562. Across the known world—and beyond it—agents of the shrouded isle of Dioscoria engage in clandestine struggles to shape (alternate) history itself. As a covert team of magicians, rogues, and warriors, players will navigate high-stakes missions filled with magic, peril, and deception: sabotage a royal marriage and face divine wrath, venture into the mind of a seer to purge a lurking parasite, and unravel a web of crimes in the shadows of Elizabethan London. Hunt a legendary beast, and expose a secret plot that threatens Dioscoria’s very existence. Each adventure will test your cunning, courage, and command of fate itself.
